Even if Sega did not develop the game themselves, they have ultimate control of the IP. Fuck, I hate the fact that they made Tails such an integral part of this game. It's annoying, it messes up the flow of the game, and it's gimmicky as shit.

I liked the Sonic Advance and Sonic Rush games.

Sort of came out of nowhere for me too. But anyway, looking at the reviews, it seems like it's really only a slight improvement over the first. And the music sounds horrible!
