I had a Xbox for about 2 minutes. I had Silent Hill 2 and Fatal Frame 2. When I found out FF3 was only on PS2, I traded the Xbox in
They have escaped into the mansion where they thought it was safe, yet.

There are a small number of RPGs that look interesting:RCBH928 wrote:BoneSnapDeez wrote:I'm still kind of itching to get a modded Xbox so I can start importing games.

Re: How is the original Xbox shaping?
I see retro trying to coax me out. IMO the Xbox games are on a slow uptick and most of the common rare titles for on the cheap are thinning not drying up. But the value and rarity usually comes from the Xbox variants which are now truly rare and hard to find hint see my old thread for which variants to get before they dry up completely glad I finished my Xbox set 2 years ago and now can sit back and relax....☺

At least on Xbox the disc drive reads imports without ever being opened.CRTGAMER wrote:Just like the PS2, go the hard drive route. Avoid the Thomson Disc reader units!BoneSnapDeez wrote:I'm still kind of itching to get a modded Xbox so I can start importing games.

Don't need a slide card or what not.

Re: How is the original Xbox shaping?
mine's shaping up quite well. I have 3 modded original xboxes with larger HDD's. There's a frontend that has been released recently by the name of Visionary 4. Check it out here:
It's pretty much Hyperspin, but on the original xbox and yes, it does look as good in real life as in the video.

To clarify, the PS2 only needs the Slide Card (could damage the tray) or the better Flip Top approach just to do the initial install. There is also the convert to PC ISO hard drive Ethernet cable method to circumvent the PS2 eject tray region check.theclaw wrote:At least on Xbox the disc drive reads imports without ever being opened.CRTGAMER wrote:Just like the PS2, go the hard drive route. After the install, the PS2 game is region free since the tray no longer has to be ejected.

That's still less convenient than Xbox.CRTGAMER wrote:To clarify, the PS2 only needs the Slide Card (could damage the tray) or the better Flip Top approach just to do the initial install.
