You should sell them to me at cost ($8).

For ones I already have, flip away.

Some are much more limited than others (store exclusives, etc). Some are part of pack-ins, some are part of 3-character packs, so anywheres from $10 for more commons to $35+ on the rares...right now. I think things will chill now that the holiday after-rush is slowing.

I don't know what they're worth though. What's cheap?

Even the relatively easy to find figures sell for about double retail on Ebay.

If you can find any figures consider yourself lucky.

Retail is $7.99.

Most stores stuck to that until they sold out. Wal-Mart and Best Buy bumped them to $9.99 before they sold out. Impossible to find in stores and online right now (except for a few of the very commons).

Depending on character, again, ebay is $10 low end and $35+ high end.

From the literature on the individual character packages, it sounds like there will be sequels. I am really hoping so. My kids (and me to a slightly lesser extent) just love this game. I am thoroughly impressed w/how involved and indepth not only the game, graphics, and environments are - but how much replay value is present with the unique traits of each character - truly top-notch.

My kids have been watching the character videos all-day. The other thing I am noticing, I typically don't like to play on anything bigger than 37" at a distance, or 25" if i'm playing close - but this game, being so involved, and truly using the entire screen, plays much better the larger you go. I hooked it up to the 42" today and it was even more stunning. If they come out w/at least 2 more character-interactive sequels, I can almost see purchasing a 50" and dedicating it just as a skylanders exclusive setup. Awesome job on this. Hopefully they don't rush the sequels.

I have been satisfied with a 32" CRT for years. After getting halfway through Skylanders, I felt the urge to re-acquire a large HDTV. I snagged a Sony 46" LCD projection solely for this game. It also came in handy for Skyward Sword, which is native 16:9 and has difficult to read text when output to 4:3. Xenoblade also has the same problem.

Exactly. The game just screams big TV for max enjoyment. I really hope they support and add to this idea. Another adventure game for sure, but something in the Smash Bros. realm would be cool, plop down your guy and fight each other, or even a shoot em' up, where each figure has characteristics that are + / - for certain levels. If they do this, I will have a dedicated TV and display area for this series - its that good.

No.

The motion controls are used to throw items, unlock doors, and open chests. Hardly a reason to complain unless you have no arms.
