Re: Systems you don't like.
I'd have to go w/ PCs on this. N64 is a close 2nd.
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!
Re: Systems you don't like.
Well, I'm in the I like every console at least somewhat for it's own merits/exclusive games club.
However, the N64 has done the least for me in terms of games I can really get into. I pretty much keep mine around for multiplayer, but it's rare I can get 3 or 4 people who really want to play Mario Kart 64, or Goldeneye these days.

I miss when having arguments over consoles was just fun. My friend and I would always have debates on Genesis vs SNES. After that it was PSX vs N64. Hell, we still have PSX vs N64 debates. It was all in good fun though. Some of the Internet arguments I've seen about the current gen consoles are just insane.

Pong is a good simple game. There were too many shitty pong machines that were all the same, sure, but the game is good and it was a cultural phenomenon. I like it.
The INTV, that 16 way d-pad is still unique. I haven't played anything like Major League Baseball on any other platform. The direct control of your outfielders using the number pad is a really nice element. Triple Action on INTV beats the hell out of Combat on the 2600. The biplanes game is especially good with simulated stalling. The port of Burgertime is fantastic. There's no shortage of reasons to like the INTV.

Who's our N64/Jaguar stalwart? Those two systems are getting a beating in this thread.

I actually like my Jaguar. I don't play it much, but when I play 3D Jag games, it feels like I have been transported inside of a computer and am exploring unfinished video games after everything has been modeled but no textures have been wrapped.dedalusdedalus wrote:Who's our N64/Jaguar stalwart? Hahah, that is awesome. The funny thing about the N64 is that I just picked one up along with an Everdrive 64 and I still don't play it. People call the Xbox the Halo box, for me the N64 is my Mario Kart box and that is about it. I really wanted the San Francisco Rush games to hook me, I just need to give them more time.Czernobog wrote:I actually like my Jaguar.
