I'm a 32x34 and the Banana Republic always has some decent fitting jeans for the slim and tall. Same for the Gap and Old navy (same shit different price points). For a little more coin, J.Crew jeans seem to last longer.

I swear by my Levis 514 Slim Straight. Most durable and comfy jeans I've ever owned.

I stopped wearing jeans back in Jr. High when I discovered the magic of cargo pants. Once you use the extra pockets you can't go back.
