You'll eventually be able to fix this with a flash card anyway. There's already homebrew for the previous DS generations that will copy, write, and erase the save memory on DS cards. It's only a matter of time.

I've been saying that Capcom is evil for the longest time now guys lol. This doesn't surprise me. I have said this before, but Capcom is the greediest gaming company there is and always has been throughout the history of console gaming. This is the company that set the standard for milking franchises and has started setting a good example for nickel and diming gamers through DLC as well. They would throw every single one of their fans under the bus if there was a way to make money off of it.

What a moronic move from Capcom. Not even talking about the act or selling the game used. I usually like to play my games a few times if I really like it and on different save files.
This piracy is better than reselling argument....really? There is no doubt that the industry takes a hit. Unlike movies there is no point when the public can go play the game at a theater or something and pay a retarded fee for a an hour and a half viewing. But to say reselling games is worse than piracy makes little to no sense. Crunch whatever numbers you want that you feel makes up the average but one person buying the game and that game getting passed of as used once (maybe twice) during the peak selling point for that game compared to one guy paying nothing then passing it off to 6 of his friends who also pay nothing....

I doubt Nintendo really cares. They were the original company to get video game rentals banned in Japan back in the Famicom days (you STILL can't rent games there!... but the side effect is that the used game market there is purely awesome), and tried to get game rentals banned in America.

I wonder why no game studios have contacted GameStop and eBay to work out a deal where they don't carry the game used for X amount of months similar to what happened with NetFlix and RedBox.

Piracy can't be better than the used market. The used market sustains the product's full price. If the ability of re-selling the game is lost, then the game is less valuable.

This just sucks. I don't want to hate Capcom. I hold Capcom in high-regard, but if this happens, I just don't know anymore.

They're one of the most influential companies in history and have made some of the greatest games of all time, but I've always said that they are just a big corporation that doesn't care about their fans. A lot of people have always felt differently though and always called them one of the few companies that cares about us.
Yeah, right.

At a corporate level you're right, they're just profiteers and nothing more. However, when I think of a video game company, I think of the developers, not the CEOs and such. Capcom used to have developers that DID care about us and genuinely tried to make excellent and creative games.
