I would love to join in the fun (chaos?), but I am stuck at work. I may wait until later tonight to try downloading. Definitely still going with Wipeout HD/Fury. I'm going to look at videos of Dead Nation and see how I like that.

dead nation is pretty awesome it, to me feels like top down twin stick shooter version of left 4 dead. Plus the local and online multiplayer make it really intense. I dont think you would be disappointed.

Ya, no point trying right now anyways, so many errors. I just got all my accounts ready to go. The deal will not dissappear over the weekend.

What I really really like is that you have to activate the 30 days of plus yourself. So since I have a Canadian and a US account I can activate one now, and one on the last day of the deal (july 3rd) to get closer to 60 days of free plus.

We definitely need to get some Wipeout HD/Fury races going. It's all about Phantom class... and never ever ever release the throttle. EVER.

...unless you have Quake.

Oh, and does anyone know if back-Quake works in HD/Fury?

I don't know, I didn't see anything, but some people on neogaf said that the 60 extra days for current subscribers was just being auto added since you are already in the system for it.

Awesome.
Your password being invalid is normal. All passwords were as they are forcing ever account to change them. The error is because the servers are getting hammered, try tommorow.

Correct! Current subscribers get their 60 days automagically.

This might help clear up any other questions.

I AM GENUINELY SHOCKED THAT SONY DIDN'T DO MORE TO PREPARE FOR THE INEVITABLE HEAVY TRAFFIC THAT WOULD HIT ONCE THE DEAL WENT LIVE
Speaking as someone who deals with fleet scaling all the time at work, I'm not too annoyed at Sony for this. Ramping up your fleet for a one time burst isn't exactly cost effective.

Grabbed the new Wizardry game this morning and rolled my party. But I think when I get home tonight I'm gonna reroll my Elf to get the 39 bonus points I need for her to be a Ninja right off the bat.
