Bump for the hope of more content. I'll add some when I get home and I'm not posting from my phone.

I don't know much about this one yet, but it just got mentioned on the indiegames weblog, so I thought I'd post it here. It's loosely based on the Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime. It has some beautiful background graphics and giant enemies in a side scrolling action game.

Gundemonium Collection

Rockin' Android is bringing the Gundemonium series to the US. The games will be released on PSN and Steam. As you can see, they are side scrolling bullet hell shooters with flying anime girls. Kind of typical for doujin, but it's rare for these games to be localized to the states, so I'm excited for their release.

I'll definitely check out that Madoka game. Love the anime. The Gundemonium games on PSN are rather poor ports. Often have issues with music skipping.

Ougon Musou Kyoku

This is a tag-team fighting game with some real visual flare to it. The graphics are really lovely and remind me a bit of BlazBlue. It's based on popular visual novel characters from Umineko no Naku Koro ni .

Trouble Witches

A game by Studio Siesta, Trouble Witches is a horizontal STG. It makes use of an interesting mechanic known as the magic circle, which is emitted by the characters' familiars and causes bullets to slow down when they enter its field. If the enemies that fired the bullets are destroyed, they drop coins which can be collected to purchase additional items. However, if bullets escape the magic circle before the enemy is destroyed or leaves the screen, they turn yellow and charge towards the player. It's a very interesting risk and reward system that makes for a compelling gimmick. The sprite work is quite good, and the music is adequate. The game has a very cutesy demeanor, so be aware of that.
The game is available on PC/Arcade/XBLA in Japan, and XBLA in North America. The XBLA version Trouble Witches Neo is the definitive* version.
*All versions besides the PC version exclude a specific character, but the XBLA version has every other character and feature

Thanks Dylan! Your description of the main battle mechanic has me eager to try this game. I tried to download the trial version from the links you posted, but the link is no longer active. I did, however, find some archived stuff and here is an older version of the PC trial for those interested:
