Here she is only a week old hanging out with me as I play some VC on my Wii.

Aww...that's what I'm talking about. Makes my day.

Unless you're getting her Wily Wars, I assume she already has a Nintendo or something?
Nope. I'm getting her Wily Wars. Three Mega Man games with a save feature (at least I'm pretty sure it had a save feature.)

Here is a picture of my 5 year old grandson playing Sonic 2. It is a strange setup as he is playing the Korean release of Sonic Classics on my region modded X'Eye using the controller from my Laseractive since it is the smallest controller I have with the longest cord. His favorite games are Sonic 2 and the Korean release of Fire Mustang.

I thought I was the only person who paid $25 for the butterfly garden. Good to see there were others :P

His mother bought that for him but has never sent off for the butterflies. Instead, we use it when we go out and catch fireflies and cicadas. He also puts all the other assorted "goodies" that he finds in there.

At first we were upset when we opened the box, seemed just sorta chincy for $25. But when we did order the larvae and moved them to the "garden" to hatch, it was pretty darn cool for a few days. However, the butterflies do leave a red gooey substance on the netting after emerging from the cocoons. Yep, and we use ours for storing random bugs we find outside.

Not really a retro game, but a retro song - here is my oldest son playing BeatHazard while listening to his favorite song RUN DMC's "Run's House"
