Yes most of the posters are not educational and comic book related but the Mario/NES stuff is. I will use SMB3 to teach the scientific method. The idea for the lesson came from here: http://www.significant-bits.com/super-mario-bros-3-level-design-lessons

You probably noticed that gap around the PC tower area. I'm currently using an older computer I dubbed "old faithful" until I can get my main tower repaired. Waiting for parts to come in the mail

Usually a bit dimmer but needed the flash to show everything!

EDIT: still a bit dark looking at it again. Some details:
PS2-chipped, running ToxicOS from internal HDD. Plays burned games and allows HDD-boot after an install
GC-GB player below it, getting ahold of a GB Player disk
PS3-Slim 160GB
Speakers-Logitech 2.1
Monitor-ASUS 23" 1080p 2ms lag
Monoprice Composite to VGA adapter for PS2/GC/64 (when hooked up, monitor doesn't have composite in)

The converter works great by the way. Not the best resolution but no lag and reasonably crisp. Good enough for 6th gen, but wouldn't put a SNES through this. It would muck up the clarity too much.

Nice systems. That PS2 is hanging on the edge just waiting to get knocked down. I prefer my consoles flat. You could set it flat and put the Gamecube on top. There will be no vent slots covered and the PS2 will be more stable and easier to load game discs. The PS3 also ventilates better flat, maybe place the PC tower on a separate table?

At least a Wii has a clear plastic round stand. Why take a chance and put any game console on its unstable poorly ventilated edge?

Thank you. There is a dresser just to the left of my desk so the PS2 won't fall off if it does fall over. I've had good luck with PS2s vertically oriented, and I have a stand for my PS3 slim. The vent holes are all on the bottom and so all exhaust air goes towards the desk lamp so there's plenty of space to push warm air. It also has 4 USB ports on the side which is handy when charging controllers and using peripherals. This is my homework desk as well and as such space was a primary concern, so small and vertical systems were the best option I could find. May put the GC on the PS2 horizontally though, assuming cable lengths permit.

Also updated a few details about my setup. I think you would approve of my PS2, CRT lol.

There's mah desk. Some claymation stuff and books to the left and my MAC on the right. My mouse pad is a black piece of cardstock duct taped to my desk.
