Looking at Xeogred's list, I have to add that Ninety Nine Nights was another one for me.

I don't have hatred for the game or anything. All I can really say is that the game is nowhere near as exciting as it looks.

When it took me 45 excruciatingly long, boring, repetitive minutes to get near the end of one level, only to die and find my checkpoint was 20 minutes past, I decided I couldn't handle that level of boredom for the entire game. If my details are off there, I apologize, its been years.

That one sat on my shelf for a while with the promise I'd try to get back into it, but it wasn't long before I gave up on the idea and traded the game.

Looking at my very small PS3 collection...

- Uncharted (well I bought it at a Greatest Hits price). Yeah, Uncharted. I love the second game but the first one seriously doesn't do much for me, and yes I did play it before playing the second, lol. Everytime it felt like the platforming was getting fun, bam more boring gun fights with awkward controls and the same 3 guns over and over!

- FF13, just to tag along with others in this thread. I feel embarrassed that I beat it, and even spent some time with it afterwards grinding in that one big area. It's late, but yeah I seriously can't even recall what the big plains area was called at the moment. The ending was ... super hilariously cliche', I mean so bad it was literally kind of funny and didn't give off that "worth it" satisfaction at all.

I seriously think the best thing about my experience with this game, was that the final dungeon visually looked pretty cool, because it looked like something straight out of Xenogears/Xenosaga. So yeah, that made the dungeon very exciting.

I think it was just one of those games I had... and nothing else at the moment. It's funny how against the game I was up until its release, and all my friends were all over it. Fast forward to now and I'm the only one among us that actually finished the damn thing. We all definitely agree it's forgettable and I really hope the unnecessary sequel that nobody wanted completely bombs. Thanks for just pushing back Versus XIII even more! Which I really want to be good, but I don't have much faith in SE thesedays. It's GOTTA be better than FF13 though... right? lol

I felt this way about the first Uncharted game as well. The shooting sequences were really a detriment in my opinion, especially since it would be wave after fucking wave of people. I'm not some hotshot skill shooter, so I had to start punching people in the face while fifty of his buddies shot me several new assholes. Even when I was getting headshots, I'd run out of ammo fast.
