None whatsoever.
However, I am using a PSP-3000, where I need to use the sort of custom firmware (CFW) where it goes back to the original firmware if I completely shut the power off (the CFW is just stored in the RAM). I've heard that some homebrew only works using this CFW, while some other homebrew only works on the older style. Maybe PCE for PSP only works with the newer style?
Sorry for being so vague, but I don't remember the names of things and I don't feel like looking them up.
No worries. I don't know the names either, but I'm aware of what you're referring to. Its interesting that you're using a 3000. From what I was finding on the subject I figured a 1000 would be best, but I guess not, so you must be right about it needing the newer style.
I'm not sure exactly what PCE for PSP requires in terms of firmware stuff, but its become clear to me that whatever its looking for, mine ain't it. I've got a 2000 with some hack or another running on it (I did it months ago, and mine sticks around on the memory stick), but I can't be bothered to figure it out and then look for something compatible. After the amount of time I put into this, I'm kinda throwing my hands up on it.

I've got things running with PSPHugo at least. Its full of problems, which vary by game, but I can use it.
You know what all of my nonsense proves though? No god damn emulator will ever compare to the real deal.
