PS2 has Red Faction, which alone covers the FPS genre for me. The other games are just bonuses.

I have some really fond multiplayer memories in Red Faction.

I just noticed today that the PS2 tab on the Gamespot main page has been removed. I think in favor of the Android? The 3DS and iPhone/Mobile have been there awhile, I think

This is a very minor event. But I'm sure that it has been there every single time until now. So it does kinda mark the end of an era. The PS2 is just barely hanging on. Probably won't be long until Sony announces its final price cut and discontinuation.

If the NES was the kind of the 80s then the PS2 was the king of the first half of the 2000s. Xbox made an impact and the Gamecube presented some awesome titles but at the end of the day PS2 was king.

I was thinking the same thing. All the Best Buy stores I service have at least a couple in stock. I am just simply waiting.
