I must admit, I clicked on my bookmark just to get a quick check on what's going on at the forum, but this caught me way off-guard. But, I now realize how much better this looks. The only thing I don't like is that it was such a big change. Big improvements take a bit to get used to.

I'm a fan. It is modernized while remaining understated and simple. I have adblock so I can't comment on those.

I'm digging the new look; glad to see there isn't a mascot lurking around

I love the new layout. Of COURSE the adds suck, when do adds not suck? If they have to be there so that the sight can stay up, however, then I think we would all rather have them. Racket does enough and spends enough.

Argh, having to resort to the god-forsaken GlossyBlue template (yes I know I complained about this last time) because AcidTech for some reason stretches wildly and randomly. Nevermind. I kind of don't mind GlossyBlue now though since it's not that searing white any more thanks to the semi transparent background and the little squares. It's softer to look at. It's just going to take me a while to learn what I'm looking at (I'm used to the stark contrast between read and unread threads, no I can't see them at a glance :( )

I do like the new layout, everything you need to see is right there. You don't have to go delving into things to find out what the Together Retro or the Podcast is. That's much better.

Also regarding the complaints about flash, what flash? There is no flash in the layout... Those are simple CSS/Javascript tricks with DIV layers. The only flash is the little player for the podcast. That's it.

any more changes coming?

This would be great, plus I would gladly pay a bit for it, maybe (since the adds are unsightly for some) that could go towards getting rid of them.
