Had that statement been made in the 90s, there'd be something to debate about, but seeing Sonic's games in the past 7 years......AwesomeMonstar wrote: Mario is better than sonic and I hate you.

It's shit like this that makes me want to put my idea for a game mode in a game. It'd basically be Counter-Strike, but with no score counter. I get so tired of people playing CS:S and not acting as a team.Ziggy587 wrote:One thread was literally, "Who else gets good K:D but no objective score?" This annoys me so much! Maybe even more so than cheaters! Why play a game mode, like capture the flag, if you're not gonna participate? If all you wanna do is kill, stick to tradition combat modes and stay out of the other game modes.

My dream is a game that monitors assholes in online games and stops them by going back in time to when they were still fetuses and delivering a series of stiff punches to their mother's midriff.

Man, I'd hate to beta test that game.neilencio wrote:My dream is a game that monitors assholes in online games stops them by going back in time to when they were still fetuses and delivers a series of punches to their mother's midriff.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Or like the one guy that was on your team for the past few rounds, consistently getting something like 2 kills and 15 deaths... the reason your team keeps losing. One would think after a round or two of that, that person might think to himself, "Wow, the rest of my team is getting more kills then deaths, maybe I should stick like glue to them and then I wont get killed as much."GSZX1337 wrote:It's shit like this that makes me want to put my idea for a game mode in a game. This is me, sometimes. I usually try to stick with my team, but then they split up and I'm never sure who to follow. Or even worse, they Team Kill me and blae me for getting in their way.Ziggy587 wrote: Or like the one guy that was on your team for the past few rounds, consistently getting something like 2 kills and 15 deaths... the reason your team keeps losing. Thankfully, in most games, I do about average now.

There's stats for friendly fire in Goldeneye, but I'm pretty sure you can't kill a team mate. That's good at least. But yeah, I know what you mean about the team splitting up. I always figure it doesn't matter who you follow, as long as you're with some one.
Re: I love this site.
TF2 does this. On the scoreboard you can see your personal stats, such as kills, deaths, assists, etc, but for everyone else you can only see their points. Points are gained by kills, assists, doing objectives, blocking objectives, headshots, backstabs, destroying buildings, and maybe something else I'm forgetting. So you can get a really high score with a low number of kills if you're going for the team objectives.GSZX1337 wrote:It's shit like this that makes me want to put my idea for a game mode in a game. I like how TF2 does its scoring, but I'd want my idea to taken further. No scores. None. Goneskies.MrPopo wrote:TF2 does this.
