We'd prefer you didn't. Let's just move on. Another game I'd recommend for the PS3 if you enjoy fighters is BlazBlue. It's got that lovely 2D art and the fighting system is sufficiently intuitive that those who don't play many fighting games can easily pick it up and have a good time, which is always a plus. Also, it rewards aggressive play; perfect for my tastes. And the character roster is incredibly varied and each one plays totally different from the rest.

I've only played a small bit of Guilty Gear, but from the perspective of someone who plays fighters for fun instead of to try and get really good I'd say it's better than GG. With GG you've got four specific attack buttons, while BB has the three progressive attack buttons of weak, medium, strong and they naturally combo up the chain. The fighting system feels more fluid to me and I can do some cool stuff without reading up on flowcharts. And it's great for having other people over who aren't really into fighters. Sure, everyone knows Street Fighter, but BB is very much a pick up and play game.

pretty much sold me on this game. im just like you in that i usually play a fighter for the fun, so the system seems to be really cool.
