That's not entirely true for woodwinds, as they require you to have one hand above the other to hit the appropriate valves. That may or may not affect someone to have their non-dominant hand above the dominant hand.

They can just flip the positions of their hands if needed.

You'd have to change the positions of all the levers on all the valves. It'd be nontrivial but you should be able to pull it off without affecting the sound, as most of it is to be able to open channels out of reach of the main row.

well apparently there are left handed clarinets, though I'd wager that they aren't very common.

There aren't left handed real instruments (like violin or woodwinds) so there shouldn't be left handed guitar. The only reason they exist is because every little queer wants to play guitar, and only real people want to play violin or woodwinds.

That's not what I'm saying. The guitar is great, but most stupid people just want to play guitar for the rock aspect of it. So most people just end up playing guitar (usually badly), which means businesses make left handed guitars for kids that want to "learn" to play, but don't want to work hard enough to learn to play correctly.

Oh and since I'm right handed and play sax, I should look for a right handed sax instead of getting better with my left hand. Because on most, if not all, woodwinds left hand is on top and does more work.
