However, MY CE SF4 and SE Fightstick from ModMan arrived today, so I can get to practicing on the earlier version, which I haven't played in a year or so.

Played a little. Went 3-0 as Cammy using quick match, including a narrow victory against a rank C Cody. Down to the wire, gave him the choice of eating an Ultra and dying or blocking it and dying to chip. He busted out his own, but it didn't do enough damage (and didn't go into the full ultra connect). So I land and give him one good kick to finish him.

Endless battle is a really nice feature. No pressure of ranked matches but it keeps things cycling. I never went with the unranked matches before because it'd be a lobby with one other person who you'd keep fighting over and over. With Endless you keep cycling through people, so it's like when you've got a bunch of people in the arcade.

We don't get the game until Friday thanks to being in PAL-land so I won't be able to join you until then (if it even comes on Friday, it might not come until Tuesday due to a bank holiday). So yeah, I have a feeling i'm gonna lose. A lot.

yes. get ready to rumble my friend. i actually finish the game last night after i played borderlands with hobie. the default controls change a bit, but did no harm. i actually think is a much better control. the game does feel like more of an upgrade than a sequel.
