You know what, I'll raise my hand with you. I picked up Super C a couple weeks ago and flubbed up the code too.

Played a lot of Contra at my friend's house back in 5th-6th grade. We beat it together with the code, which was a cool accomplishment for being 11 years old.

I liked the arcade version of this way more for some reason. Though the NES version is fun, the arcade version just clicked with me. Hence why I blew my load when I found it on XBL.
