That wiki article was really cool. I mean, yeah, it's a bitch if you have it, but from the perspective of a detacted outside observer it's fascinating stuff. A dominant gene that causes you to invariably lose all ability to sleep and go complete insane before shutting down. Considering how late the onset is I'm surprised it isn't more widespread. It sets in long after childbearing and being dominant it'll spread easy, as half the kids will get it and perpetuate that 50% inheretance rate. It must be a recent mutation of the genome.

I agree. And only around 50 families in the world have it. The videos are pretty creepy too. I must repeat myself that I don't think I have this, just something I came across. And I am happy to report that I got a full night of sleep. Aaahhh... all because I kept staying up all night during the summer and trying to make myself go back to falling asleep early just screwed everything up.

Sorry to have changed the subject of the thread, but that happens a lot I see ;)
