I shave once every week or two, and sometimes leave the stache portion a little thicker than the rest. I haven't had a clean shave in...well, since I started growing facial hair at the awkward age of 18.
Now, in my opinion these two dudes have some cool looking facial hair. I've attempted the look on the right with limited success.
Regarding the article: Argh for fucks sake. Why does everybody call a Van Dyke a fucking Goatee? A goatee has no 'stache for fucks sake, hence the fucking name, it looks like the scruff on a goat's chin.
Next time somebody comments on my 'goatee' regardless of what facial hair they have I'm gonna fucking say "nice mutton chops". And yes, that includes females.

What You Think It Says About You: I care about my appearance, and I paid a lot of money for one of those five-blade razors, so I'm gonna get my money's worth.
What It Really Says About You: I am afraid to experiment with facial hair, because I have no idea what would happen. It might grow in all patchy and I'll look like the neighbor from The Burbs or something. It's better to just avoid it altogether.

Sentence Heard From This Person: "I'd love to get coffee with you, I just have to finish some work. Shall we say Coffee Bean at 8:30? Tentatively?"
^More likely sentence heard from this person: "My mom thinks I look handsome."
Could have swore you announced you were a female user at some point. If this remains true, I think we just found out why you're here.

I think I'm either missing something in the meaning of her comment or I'm just really off today, because I don't understand this. Did her comment suggest that she HAS facial hair, or are you suggesting that her interpreting clean shaved men in this way makes her a pariah among females? I'm not trying to start anything; I just truly want to understand what you mean.
