For me it would be a tie between Zenki on the PC-FX and Gimmick! on the Famicom. I paid about $200 each.

I remember I paid 50 bucks for Kingdom Hearts around when it came out. I can't remember paying more than that for a game...

I paid $220 for a partial kit of Ibara. That was actually a very good deal. I'm sure someone from the shmups forum is going to come by and blow us all away with several thousand dollar purchase of a pristine brand new Cave kit.

Heh, ironically, I paid $140 for the ps2 port of Ibara, just under what you got your partial kit for.

Casey's 10th most expensive purchase would blow all these away

Probably Shinrei Jusatsushi Taroumaru for Saturn for 12,000 yen. I played through it then sold it for almost twice that. I may pick it up again in the future.

Neo Geo Online vol.1 Garou MOW Neo Geo Stick bundle (import PS2) for $110

I had to scrape to get thse titles on release... but I'm glad I did

A copy complete panzer dragoon saga copy for 170$. They wanted 270$ but I traded my two copy's of chrono trigger and a one final fantasy 3 for snes.

$75 for Lunar Silver Star Story Complete PS1 brand new back in 1999. Had cash flow issues in 2006 and sold it on Ebay for $75 including shipping. Regret it only because two weeks later my financial situation unexpectedly got much better... it was collecting dust anyways, and the buyer was a true fan and very happy, but damn I wish I had held off.
