This may sound heartless, but if I was faced with the choice between paying over a thousand dollars in vet bills or putting down the animal and getting a new one, I'd go for the second one. I only ever have mutt cats I got for free, so those are super easy to replace.brunoafh wrote:Oh man do I feel your pain there. Vet bills can just absolutely slam you sometimes. hopefully he's good to go for now - things are in "wait and see" mode...
Hope all works out for you and the kitty though.

but the other ones would get lonely...
Also smile my sister moved back from NC and her dog looks just like mine. I'm actually not really sure which one is which in this photo.

Sometimes it isn't a clear choice. You don't always know what the total will be when take an animal in, especially if it involves at-clinic recovery on medication.BoringSupreez wrote:This may sound heartless, but if I was faced with the choice between paying over a thousand dollars in vet bills or putting down the animal and getting a new one, I'd go for the second one. That's fine and yes it can be seen. 600 wide will generally fit without breaking the default layout I believe. If it is going to be wider than say 800 or a few hundred K, might spoiler is unless it is in an image centric thread like finds, BST, collection, or the image dump threads.flex wood wrote: Edit what is the preferred size for images here? 725 wide and 256kb limit. Anything wider automatically gets resized unless its a direct attachment. The direct upload pics can be auto resized by using this command:Hobie-wan wrote:That's fine and yes it can be seen. 600 wide will generally fit without breaking the default layout I believe. @ Hobie - not sure if this applies to the "Silver" layout, did it ever get the auto size fix?

Smile: My neighbors party is today, and they're already smoking a whole hog. In-laws are coming over for dinner and to ask us if we've found a church yet, but after that, good times.

But it was like $22 and they didn't drop the price until all they had left was large and x-large. Now I can't find one anywhere.
