yeah, JT's thoughts echo my own about the album and Manson's catalog and presence in general. TPE is really very good, and his best since Holy Wood, I'd say.

I'll make it a priority. I remember years ago he did a live radio show where he did an acoustic performance of Timberlake's "What Goes Around," which made me think he would do really well over some more subdued tracks. This sounds interesting. More so, I like when artists reinvent themselves, or step outside of their comfort zone. This seems like it would really appeal to me.

Manson has always done great acoustic covers and versions of his own stuff. This has always been a favorite.

The Need


First time digital re-release for this 1997 queercore/riot grrrl band. I never heard them back in the day, so this feels kind of like a time machine back to my past riot grrrl obsession. The Need sound kind of like a more mellowed Heavens to Betsy, which was Corin Tucker's band before she got famous with Sleater-Kinney.
