Pre-packaged BBQ food is aggravating. They always just say "BBQ," not "Memphis-style BBQ" or "Kansas City style BBQ" so I never know what it'll taste like until I'm eating it.

That link isn't a picture, it is code for a Deviant Art page that is nice enough to use scripts to display a picture for you once you get there. That's why it wasn' working. When you have an actual link ending in BLAH.jpg or some other image extension, click the Img button above the post editor and put the link between the tags.
