Such a fantastic album man! For my money that's the best one in the Dropkick Murphy's back catalog (although I'm also quite fond of the slightly more Oi! sensibilities found on Do or Die when Mike McColgan was still lead vocalist). Sing loud, Sing Proud is definitely a landmark in the genre of Celtic punk, maybe even one of the cornerstones.

Have you checked out Street Dogs at all? That's Mike McColgan's (slightly) more recent band, although once again I would say the style of Street Dogs draws more from Oi! than it does from celt punk. They're pretty awesome as well, although you don't get that sense of traditionalism you might find on Dropkick Murphys album.

Yeah, I also nabbed Warriors Code and Meanest of Times. They're good, but SLSP is stellar start to finish. Have not heard Street Dogs, but I'll try to remember to give them a look later.

Been meaning to get their discography for the longest time. They have two slightly different ones which is confusing.

I'm a big fan of Los Crudos as well.
saw Crudos and Infest in Chicago TWICE in the same day last summer and it was amazing. so many stage dives. i still wanna see LxW sometime.
"last summer"

Shocked to see that these bands are still around!

On a side note, here's a picture of a flyer I saved some time ago because it looks like one of the best 90s hardcore shows ever.

yeah Crudos plays from time to time, but this was an Infest "reunion" tour or whatever. Chris Dodge was playing bass for them. pretty cool.

and god DAMN IT that show looks incredible. every band is perfect.

Seriously, nice to hear about some journey other than "Don't stop believin'"(great song but after I heard about it i wore it out on my old iPod and can't stand to listen to it unless I'm really in the mood)

Daft Punk - Get Lucky

Ok decided to do a audio test and don't know why but they sounded good in my jbl's so I gave this song a try  I need to seriously listen to more stuff by them but dang I'm warming up to them(even though my dad wouldn't be caught dead listening to them since he's a metal head so I'll have to not talk about it around him  )

This awesome cover version of "Somebody Super Like You" from Phantom of the Paradise by Beatrice Demi Mondaine

I actually found this AGES ago but decided to listen to it recently. I know almost NOTHING about the singer, aside from that she's French. But her voice is AWESOME and she NAILS this song.
