Are you talking about those old VHS tapes where they advertised the newest games and accessories?

Picked up a CIB (sealed? It's an unopened blisterpack) Capcom Soldier Pad MD at a retro store in LA whilst on a trip with some friends, $20! The blister pack was slightly crushed, but not so much that it is really noticeable. Haven't gotten a chance to actually try in on my Genesis yet, but holding it in my hand, it feels incredibly comfortable! Can't wait to try it with some shmups!
For anyone wanting to check it out, I can't remember the name of the store, but it was the only videogame store at the "Asian Garden Mall" in Little Saigon in Garden Grove, near Arirang Korean Supermarket. Great mall, and this particular store had a pretty great selection of retro games, including plenty of import stuff. The prices were a bit high, but they were up for negotiating a bit. They had a resealed Wacky Worlds Creativity Studio that I desperately wanted, but they were asking $45 for it, which is just a bit rich for my blood. If any of you are in the LA/Garden Grove area though I'd strongly recommend the shop! The people that run it are very nice and will negotiate a bit on prices, but they don't speak English as their first language so it can be a little confusing at times. Real great shop, wish I could remember the name of the place! Check it out!

Oh man I just remembered I have one of those! I should pop it in my vcr and watch it. If I remember correctly it's the star fox tape with the "new" rumble pak.aaron wrote:yep! i had a couple but donated them to the charity auction. i think i wanna get all of the US ones, i've been on a vhs kick lately for some reason.

Wow, I probably have a couple of those VHS videos somewhere in my parent's house. That really brings back some memories... aaah the days before getting information so easily off the Internet.

scored Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy Anthology for $40 shipped on NintendoAge. FFVII is just missing the manual, but I'm sure I can find one, as that deal was too good to pass up.

Black label? Good deal. Green label? so-so.

FFVII is green. But I don't care about that. Green labels on eBay are still $35-$40 for that game alone though.

That is ridiculous.
