Game - $1.99

Console Base - $1.99
AC Adaptor - $.99
Exercise Bike - $9.99

Total with tax of $18 and change.
   I had to look this one up. Racketboy mentions it in the most valuable section, now you got to find that Speed Racer combo cart. Great find matching all the components! You definitely have a Video Game Museum piece worthy of the Smithsonian.

Okay I'm a nut, I'm already envisioning a mod. A paddle type mouse wheel sensor tied to the foot peddles and playing Track and Field, Rayman Raving Rabbids or some other stick wiggle games.

Yeah I think you got a good deal, cost $3,500 back then.

An Interesting Read.

Very nice find. I wouldn't want to keep it either, but surely someone else would and it would have probably ended up half trashed for sure.

Also, yay Scooby wagon. I just got a Saabaru myself. :)
i'm in awe of the exertainment bike, but i'm more happy with the amount of subaru's on the board. '95 impreza L wagon here.

My WRX is without question the finest car I've ever owned, and I've had some pretty decent cars. It's endlessly useful with its space, and endlessly fun, especially this time of year.

A quick update on the bike for anyone interested...I hooked it up and the console wasn't seeing the bike. I suspected the power supply may not have been the correct one, so I tried to do some googling for specs. This is how I know the thing is rare, google could find almost nothing. I searched every term and avenue I could think of including newsgroups, cached pages, archives, etc. Finally on about my millionth search term variation I stumbled on a pdf of the instruction manual buried on some random website. Fortunately it had the specs and I found my power supply was in fact wrong (I had 9v and this thing requires 13.5).

I also opened the bike up and found a couple of loose and disconnected wires. I hooked it all back together and fired it up with the correct power supply...it works! I plan on posting a video of this thing soon, I'll post a link here once I put it up. It's actually really cool! I'm a cyclist in the non-winter months, so I'm appreciating the challenge it provides...it had my heart rate way up in the fitness test, that's for sure.

My short term plans are to replace the pedals and handlebar grips, at which point it will look like new. Then it will be time to decide what I'm gonna do with this thing.

Don't replace anything please.

It's better to have worn out original pedals and handlebars than replacement new ones.
I'm inclined to say the same, however replacing for use while keeping the original for someone that might take this from you might be the best bet.

Yes, I would keep everything that was replaced, so that it could easily be brought back to this condition. However, I tend to view this a bit differently...these are both "wear items" that are meant to be regularly replaced on an exercise bike, and I believe I can still order official replacements from LifeFitness themselves. I saw what appeared to be identical pedals on their website, and the handlebar grips are simply heavy foam, nothing custom about them. You may not be able to see in the pics, but one of the current pedals is broken, and the right handlebar grip is about 1/4 wrapped in black electric tape, I assume because it's worn through.

Some Super games on craigslist:

Doom
Shaq Fu
Battletoads & Double Dragons
Spiderman
Super Mario land 2: Yoshi's island
Battletoads Battlemaniacs
Pitfall
Kirby's dream course
Donkey Kong 2
Donkey Kong 3
Super Mario Kart
Super Mario All-Stars with Super Mario World (!!)

$60 for everything! Will be selling off a few dupes on here. While not a stellar deal I wouldn't want to rip this guy off. Anything less would be mean, especially since SMAll-Stars/SMW is worth $25 as it is...
