You're probably right regarding the resources, but you underestimate man's capability and inclination towards violence against others. As the T-800 said, it is in our nature to destroy ourselves.

Odd, because from what I recall in the version that is downloadable in psn(they're obviously not the same, quite a few graphics are different). Heck even in what I did play of dragon warrior(one of these days I'll get around to playing it I just keep forgetting too) it didn't seem this high >_> It's kinda nice so I can get leveling done but I'd like to be able to walk. The major thing that's keeping me in this version is the save feature

Well, it finally happened. Have a 100 dollar credit at local retro store and found nothing they have that I want or do not already have. Kind of a sad day for me. :(

When was the last time any one tried OnLive?

Considering I live in Asia (I bet the closest server to me is in Germany), and I have a 10mbps connection which is over the air (Wiimax), with big latency (ping 300), and I am connecting to it through wifi, and I am not sure who else in the house is using it along with me... I tried Lego Harry Potter and its very playable.

Sure blurry graphics, slow response time, but its playable like a slow-ish emulator. I get to test out games like a demo with out having to download 4GB demos or have minimum requirements. not bad

Food and shelter are abundant, but I only have so much ammo to kill these people in the desert and steal their tanker full of gas...

I just watched some of the behind the scenes videos in Uncharted 2. I watched them expecting to find some interesting insight into game development, instead all I got was:

^ Pretty much what I thought of the Kaz: Pushing the Virtual Divide movie.

The Youtube clips they had for the Last of Us's motion capture n' such weren't bad though, but I haven't watched the full length one because I figured it'd just be mostly promo as well.

Would a Wii with MAME on it be able to handle most rail shooters? I'm looking at stuff like HOTD, CarnEvil, Time Crisis, etc.

EDIT:
Also, are there any adapters that let you play N64 games on any other console? It might seem like a stupid question, and it is, but I don't have that many N64 games I want and I almost feel guilty for owning the console with only one current game and only about 8 total I want, many of which can be gotten on other consoles.

As far as I know, no, the N64 is unique.
