The company that I work for recently rebranded and their new logo is orange and black / orange and grey. Their reasoning was that "look at all of our competitor's logos... notice they're all the same color? Well know one uses orange!" Hey, ever stop to think why no one uses colors like orange and grey? Sure, your logo will stand out from the others, but it'll also have the effects that orange and grey have! That's like saying I'm sick of sitting in traffic, but I found this road that no one takes. Sure, it's unpaved and uneven, but there's no traffic!
