thanks for playing Crimzon Clover, by the way. I love how you turn out to support my choices in these club games (just like Baldur's Gate!)

It was the buying cc I had trouble with, not the playing. I kind of thought that buying a house was a bigger priority than a pc game.

Just add a MAME vs. racketmember scoring table if bruno adds all these tables.

I think it would look like this:

MAME - 7
mjmjr25 - 0

MAME w/autofire - 2
noiseredux - 0

At least your game got some play man! The game I was so excited to see what people thought of is Mame only, is not made by Capcom, and is not a score-based shooter. I am starting to think I will be the only person playing it.

Easy now, he did play your TR choice of Half-Life. 1 out of 3 ain't bad? For Noise to play an FPS, respect.

Which one? Not score based?

As for Varth, gonna try a Smart Pod run next. I loved those old Ultracade machines; one place I played at charged 4 tokens per play for the privilege of sitting down in front of a pretty large screen to play. That's where I honed my ExedExes skills, and where I was consistently getting close to 525K on Varth which I thought would be the best for a day here.

(now with Smart pods for that intelligent experience!)

ExedExes - 1,447,300 - Stage 10 - Smart Pods - MAME (No Autofire)

Grabbed the pods right away so no special bonuses. But, they do a bit better on defense as long as you keep yourself situation-aware.

I'll probably break on this game till Monday or so, there's a few other shmup threads here that need my attention, and better scores.

I've worked out how many different score tables are needed...

US/World/CCC2
1. Fixed pods - auto fire off
2. Fixed pods - auto fire on
3. Smart pods - auto fire off
4. Smart pods - auto fire on
5. No pods - auto fire off
6. No pods - auto fire on

Japan
7. Fixed pods - auto fire off
8. Fixed pods - auto fire on
9. Smart pods - auto fire off
10. Smart pods - auto fire on
11. No pods - auto fire off
12. No pods - auto fire on

So, twelve then. Everyone ok with that?
