Does that mean all their music is free now?[/quote]

Excellent question Mr.25.

...and your quote made me smile, so now for the ticked.

Ticked: Not to throw anyone under the bus, but someone drank the last V-8 in my fridge, and it wasn't me. Not too big of a loss though, as it was reduced sodium V-8 (ewwww!).

:(. Terrible news. Such a unique and great band with an unbelievable and diverse catalogue of music. I hope he dedicates more time to The Raconteurs now as they are one of my favorite bands.

This is awful... I never even got to see them. Suppose that's my frown for the day...

Smile: Discovered the English car show "Top Gear" last night. Watched about 6 hours straight with a friend. It's really an excellent show (much better than American car shows or even the American Top Gear). I generally can't watch car shows because they are full of thick headed ingrates, but this was just 3 classy, older Englishmen doing what they love. Excellent.

Ticked: Shit weather in Austin continues. The noisy shingle is still lodged in place and my wife and I have moved to the livingroom for sleep (it's not as loud there). I awoke to about 2 inches of snow and had to thaw the car out... Maybe no problem to anyone in the North but Austin is not equipped to deal with snow or ice. No plows, no salters and definitely no one has the tires for it. So I limped to work at 20mph. I actually made it in time, but I will probably be stuck here tonight. We expect rain and 20 degree temps. The employee info line also did a lousy job communicating to people that they didn't HAVE to come in to work if things were bad.

Smile: Work has actually been pretty pleasant so far.

Smile: My much needed vacation is getting more and more likely. Last real one that wasn't a few days staycation or drive to Austin was 2000 or 2001. Also, hooray for badass friends to go on vacation with. :)

Ticked: I think my mailman is stealing packages. I had 2 ebay packages that tracking show as delivered Monday. I got a bill and some junk mail, but no packages. A package from a Racketeer that should be here by now is also missing as well as my auction DVD which was sent last week. I got ads Tuesday and Wednesday, but no packages. The first package was carts to fix so it screws not only me, but them if it's gone. :x

I plan to go in the morning. My post office is really shitty though and I expect them to throw up their hands and say 'no insurance, not our problem' on the two with tracking only and just shrug at the other two. :x

that's crap. That DC effectively is like the mailman saying "YES I DELIVERED IT" right? I mean. That's fishy.

Smile: Caught Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey on TV today. That series always makes me smile.

Frown: Remembering how bad the games based on it were. I wish that license could get another shot.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
