I'm cautiously optimistic.

And kinda hoping that they cast my choice for the role of Tetsuo:

He's one of the few actors I can think of who has a similar body type and (based on the old dub off of my Pioneer DVD) voice to Tetsuo.

I think a lot of people would be quick to write off Visitor Q as little more than shock value, but I see it as a bold statement of liberty and empowerment.

Great film, the sound design and special effects are incredible as well.

I've only ever seen Sakiyuki Western Django and though it was crazy awesome.

(Actually, Noise, you might like that one. Quentin Tarantino plays a character in it and the whole thing is just beyond over-the-top)

I've only seen a handful of his films, but just found them pretty gross. I don't necessarily like gross/shock for the sake of gross/shock, which is what I get out of his work. I know there's possibly something deeper that I'm not getting. But not so sure I'm interested in looking for it.

Sakiyuki Western Django doesn't have any gross/shock stuff at all, it's a crazy samurai film/spaghetti western hybrid. I've heard the guy does a LOT of different stuff though.

...guess he's most famous for his gore stuff or whatever. I'm not a fan of shock/gross either.
