Very good. I especially liked the soundtrack. It's one of those book movies that follows the source material real well, instead of taking huge liberties.

I don't understand why some people think this is a funny movie. Maybe it's because I read the book first, which isn't funny at all, but I didn't see this as a comedy.

The main issue with "A Clockwork Orange" I have is that is keeps the American ending to the book and not the one originally intended by Anthony Burgess (which I feel is far superior)

Other than that it's a great movie, I agree. And although I would agree it isn't supposed to be a comedy, it does have a fair amount of dark humor I feel.

I prefer that dub. Cam Clarke as Kaneda was awesome. I wish I could get an HD conversion of that dub. I bought the 'collector' edition on DVD with the tin case and all that stuff, but I didn't buy it on BluRay because of the new dub.

I've just watched Evangelion 'You Are (Not) Alone' and 'You Can (Not) Advance'

Overall I did enjoy them, and the Angel battles (especially 6) were far more epic, but I thought there was a lot lost character development wise in comparison to the TV series. And the haunting/chilling feel of the TV series seemed to be less evident, I found it pretty weird that Misato is supposed to be 'in on it' or something too, as she shows Lilith to Shinji - don't know how they're going to explain that in part 3.

In fairness though - I did utterly enjoy it, especially the sniper rifle stuff.

A fanmade TV series remake with the new angel battles put in would be great though I think (though obviously the ones which have extra Eva's in it and stuff probably wouldn't make sense)

Anyway, in honor of November 5th last night, I got together with a bunch of friends and watched V For Vendetta, which I had never actually seen before. I'm still not sure what to think about the film's message, but it certainly was one of the most memorable films I have yet seen, and that really says something.

30 Minutes Or Less.

Glad it was a download. Although Nick Swardson was pretty funny in it.

I was kinda iffy on the message of the comic book when I read it recently. It's very well done and all, but what's actually being said through it all is... questionable, at the very least. Moore's got distinct political and social opinions, and they show in his graphic novels.

Nick Swardson always manages to be funny no matter how crappy the movie he is in.

The only exception to this is Bucky Larson which, to my knowledge, is still boasting an impressive 0% on Rotten Tomatoes. Dunno what he was thinking with that one...
