RPG Progress Report
Re: RPG Progress Report
Yeah, I'm hoping to knock this one out by the end of the month. I groan when I think about some of the games on my summer challenge (I'm not a Madden fan), but I would like to go ahead and get started on them. And Chrono Trigger is on the list.
Re: RPG Progress Report
I guess there was another Paralogue to do in FE:A, just opened up 17. I almost did it, but the person I was protecting died in the last wave. Gonna try again here soon.

If you've been keeping your bonus box updated then there are several Paralogues that will open up when you get to the last mission.

How many chapters are there? I've updated the bonus box a couple of times and got some cool items, is that what you mean?

The bonus box also has multiplayer maps and bonus paralogues (I don't remember what the exact name of the menu option was). If you aren't at the end game you won't notice anything happening when you activate the bonus paralogues, since they won't show on the map until then. As for how many chapters, that'd be spoiler alert :p

Anna looks like a cool character though so I wanted to do it first, but I have a hard time getting to her and saving her before she gets killed. Oh well.
If it helps, you don't actually get Anna in that Paralogue. Instead, beating it will unlock a different Paralogue down the line, and you have to have made sure she survives Paralogue 2 to be elligible for recruitment in the later one.
Interesting, I thought this was her recruitment level. Sounds like I still need to find a way to keep her alive though. The real issue I'm having is that the characters I have with enough movement to get to her quickly enough are just too weak to withstand enemy attacks. Guys like Chrom, Frederick, and Lon'qu are badasses but just don't move quick enough

Lunatic mode is becoming more manageable overall. Still getting my butt kicked a little bit, but my party is getting a bit stronger. The EXPonential Growth stage from the Golden Pack DLC helped a lot since it makes level grinding so easy. Frederick is still far and away the most useful character though. God he's overpowered. I love using him

Yeah when you get Frederick he is already an advanced class, so he pretty much rocks.
I finished all of the Paralogues and now I'm back working through the main story and just started Chapter 17. Should be a fun run to the end!
Cool. Hopefully, I'll catch up eventually. I hope I get to unlock class switching and class promotions soon so I can actually beef up some other characters. I'm kind of getting tired of relying on Frederick, and to a lesser extent Chrom and Lon'qu, so much. It limits my strategic options when the rest of my party can't carry its weight.

Look for Master Seals for upgrading to an Advanced Class (character needs to be level 10 in current class) or Second Seals for switching classes. I believe after you beat Chapter 13 you open a shop that sells those.

You should start getting a few as enemy drops/chests.
