I loved that game, and got used to the controls pretty quickly. They ARE a bit awkward though.

I liked everything about what I played but the controls. I read that there is a button control option. I'm going to try that and give the game a second shot. I REFUSE to play a Starfox-like game wth stylus controls. I mean the very concept is simply ludicrous to me.

There is a button option, I found it to feel a bit stiff, but the whole game is kinda like that anyway. I think I tried it out, but found that while it worked whilst on the ground, it felt awful whilst you were flying.

Also, I dont think starfox-like game with stylus controls is ludicrous. There were a lot of problems I had with Starfox Command on DS, but the stylus controls certainly werent one of them.

Anyhow, I started playing Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse - Episode 1: The Penal Zone yesterday, and was quite a way through when my laptop's power chord broke. Unfortunately I didn't have access to a spare, so I'm 3/4s through the game waiting on another adapter to arrive to finish it. Using my girlfriend's laptop atm.

There's stylus controls in Starfox Command? I've suddenly lost all interest in buying Starfox Command :(

They're honestly not bad. I still prefer button controls, but you should give it a shot if you get the oppurtunity at least.

Well, all I can say is that I just tried X-Scape with the button set up and it's like night and day. It's actually fun and playable now. I just don't see any reason that games like this should use stylus controls. X-Scape wasn't even responsive when I used the stylus setup. Very frustrating

I hate when games use stuff like that just for gimmicky value. Now Little Red Hood Zombie BBQ and Mario vs Donkey: Minis March Again are two games that I don't think would work at all without stylus controls, but not every type of game works well with stylus controls

Just put a good amount of time into Doom 3 for the original XBOX. The game is just as bone-chilling as I remember it being. I literally caught glimpse of my own reflection in my bedroom mirror while playing, and flinched. Awesome stuff - I'm not usually a fan of FPS titles, but this one really gets the job done for me.

Also gave the Nickelodeon Party Blast (XBOX) I picked up for free a try. It's quite possibly the worst thing I've ever played in my life. You know a game is bad when you didn't pay squat for it, and you still feel ripped off.

I'm still looking to find a cheap copy. I don't want to play SotC until I play Ico.

wow. I sold my PS2 copy a while back. But yeah you need to play SotC man. Big time.

PS, Ico is amazing. Not as good as SotC, but I'm about 2 hrs in now and just love it.

Minecraft. It has been a while since I last played it, but still has that charm.
