God, I love this movie! It's so....... I don't even have the right word. Haha. It walks an incredible line between ridiculously cheesy and incredibly good. But more importantly, it sports one of the most perfect soundtracks ever recorded. Seriously. Eight songs that could not have been improved upon in any possible way. Hell, lots of it was recorded live and then spliced into the studio overdubbed sections. Just great.

Cloverfield and Diary of the Dead are terrible.

Cloverfield is a special effects movie, meant to be watched as such (I always skip the first 15 minutes). As for Blair Witch, I turned that shit off soon enough..

I actually really liked Cloverfield. It's true that the first part of it felt really dragged out, but I was more than entertained for the rest of it (Even though Hud's purposefully bad camera work often pissed me off).

Now that I think about it, that's actually how I felt about Blair Witch. I was a little bored for the first half of it too (Nothing but a bunch of whinny lost college kids. Cripes), but then the tent starts to shake and people start disappearing and the film really picks up. For my take on watching it for the first time, I'll direct you to Noise's horror movie thred.

Just got back from watching "In Time" with Justin Timberlake.

The guy is awesome. I can't stand his music for shit but he's hilarious on SNL and he's a half decent actor.

Anyway, the movie is pretty decent. It has some holes, some unexplained things in it as most movies do but it's got sort of a Equilibrium/Gattaca feel to it. Not as good as Equilibrium, and about oh, 10 zillion times better than Gattaca, at least.

I love Equilibrium. Great sci-fi flick.

Equillibrium/Gattaca, while both excellent, do not "feel" the same to me at all. What do you mean?

Also, I've never heard anyone say something bad about Gattaca...

"Bang Bang!".

One of the things I love about PRain is that you don't even have to watch it, listening to it works just as well if you've got other stuff going on.

I meant In Time has a bit of Equilibrium mixed in with a little Gattaca, kinda sorta.

Gattaca was boring to me. It's been ages since I saw it but it was just boring. Also, I found out after I posted that, that the director of In Time is also the director of Gattaca.
