I went with one of my younger brothers; I had never seen the original and he told me that that could actually be a good thing! Turns out he was right(?) 'cause when I came home and started watching the original on Netflix it was like whoa, right where the new one left off, lol!
wait, are you saying the new one is a PREQUEL??
EDIT: OMG it is a prequel!! I had no idea. I was avoiding it because I assumed it was a remake -- y'know sharing the same title and all. Woah.
TEEN WOLF is the last movie I didn't see. I wanted to watch it, but the DVD case was empty.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who has done this before, but once in a blue moon I'll be lazy and just swap out a DVD into another case with a "Oh, I'll remember where I put it". That leads to opening every single stinking DVD case in your collection trying to find one movie. Never did find my copy of Teen Wolf, and now I'm thinking it's already in another dvd player in the guest room.
I'm too old to not be adhering to the "put it back where you got it" rule.

For Halloween, I watched the first two Shrek movies. Quite good, but it's too bad they started some annoying trends like licensed music and pop culture references in every animated kids movie.
