Finally, the DKC trilogy is coming back to the VC on the Wii U! Was really bummed these were taken down before I could grab them, hopefully they all drop soon. I've been craving replaying these since I beat both Returns' last year.

Over the past few days I've gone out of my way to track down some harder to find physical releases. Got Tank! Tank! Tank!, Game & Wario, and Funky Barn from three separate stores (Funky Barn was right next to me, thankfully). With my $15 off GS coupon I managed to get all three for $50. Not bad, if I do say so myself. It was fun to be on 'the hunt' again. It's been a while.

Funky Barn is hard to find? I see that game all the time...

EDIT: Should I pick it up?

Within 100 miles from me, there are only three in Michigan. Out of five total, the other two are in Ohio. It's not worth anything, but I thought it'd be smart to grab it now.

Really fun, and addictive game - but it's pretty unpolished. Ten bucks is a fair entry price.

It was bound to happen, they were rereleased here back in October.

Rare logos intact. I wonder what the deal was?

EDIT: Wait... I don't remember a weird Nintendo logo being on the big banana's that fall after beating a boss in the original DKC??? They must have taken some liberties here and changed out the Rare logos around... but I remember them being everywhere, so I wonder how that'll work out.

Nintendoland is like $9 with the power up card now. I already had it with my deluxe wii u but I bought my niece & nephew a deluxe wii u at the pawn for $100 but it didn't come with it.

Splatoon previews are coming out now in droves.

Several reviewers likened it to Outtrigger shoved through a Nintendo filter. I was on the fence until I read that. Day one buy now.
