Paul - it was a great Simon Pegg/Nick Frost buddy comedy. It had some parts I did not like (the Bible thumping redneck was overkill), but on the whole it was a good run. The bar scene made me laugh so hard we had to stop the film.

Attack the Block
Couldn't help but reminisce about the recent riots as I watched this. An entire urban generation with no purpose in life yet they effectively use Blackberrys to organise acts of vandalism. The alien animation was terrible even by budgetary considerations, but overall the film is worth watching. Had to turn on the subtitles though

I agree that the alien animation wasn't up to par by any means. But hey, it's got one hell of a story and highly agree it's worth a watch.Pulsar_t wrote:

Just watched "Get Him to the Greek". I found the movie to be amazingly bizarre but the post-surgery painkillers I had just taken probably had something to do with that. I lost it at the scene where Jonah Hill hallucinates a floating P. Diddy head eating mini floating P. Diddy heads. What a mindfuck.

You serious?... English isn't my mother tongue and even I had no trouble understanding the movie. Surely it's not that bad...Pulsar_t wrote:Had to turn on the subtitles though.
Anyways, just watched the new Hellraiser. I didn't think it was a bad movie. Not a great movie either. But it had its moments. Not having Dough Bradley as Pinhead was a big mistake though. Nonetheless, horror fans should give it a try. Best way to look at this movie is to see it as an indie tribute to the original. Just relax, and keep an open mind...
