I have Slumber Party Massacre 1 and 2. And Sorority House Massacre 1 and 2. I've seen SM3, Hard To Kill and Cheerleader Massacre, but haven't found those to own at reasonable prices yet.
side note, Jim Wynorski is an amazing/awful director. Gotta love him. I mean, how can someone do Chopping Mall/Killbots AND the Bare Wench films? So great!

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Just watched Strange Days. The funny thing about the film is that I liked one of the major plot lines, and completely hated the other. The execution of a rap artist, its potential leak to the public, and the potential conflict that might afterward...a question of letting a pair of murderers who happen to be police officers go, or potentially causing major riots leading to the deaths of both civilians and innocent police and military just trying to do their jobs. That was excellent. The weird "punk" girlfriend, music mogul, and love triangle thing...that was contrived garbage. Plus, it was just gross.
I watched this because I was interested in films with cyberpunk elements, and this one definitely does feature those elements, focusing on a near future(for when the film was made) with a specific technology that could only exist in the film, a quickly-deteriorating society, and a focus on the counter culture and black market dealings. It's unfortunate that there are so few films that really qualify as cyberpunk.

That's a real shame, as Pacino and De Niro have been good in just about everything I've ever seen them in. I'd heard the plot was really predictable so I'd been avoiding it for the time being, but I really wanted to see those two do something amazing with this. Oh well. I haven't seen 88 minutes or Heat, but Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon, and the Godfather trilogy were all amazing for Pacino. De Niro's work in Taxi Driver was also superb, and I got a kick out of him in Brazil.dsheinem wrote:Righteous Kill - I love Pacino and DeNiro. I wrote a few weeks ago that 88 Minutes was a shit film that was elevated to passable by Pacino's acting. Heat was fantastic. This film is horrendous - HORRENDOUS. Anyone who's ever watched more than a few cop movies/TV shows can figure out pretty quick who the killer is, and the rest of the film is an exercise in not laughing at the ridiculous dialogue. Let me put it this way: 50 Cent is the only believable and somewhat interesting character in a character driven film. Poorly edited, uninteresting, and marked by two great actors going through the motions with a horrible script. I can't even recommend this one as an oddity. Spare yourself two hours and skip it.
Grade: 0.5 (50 cents!) /5

Watched Space Balls and Raising Arizona again like I seem to do every 6 months since the age of 3. Greatest movies of all time.
