Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

By the way, I'm not sure if this was posted but John K (creator of Ren & Stimpy) is kickstarting a cartoon. So far it seems he's going to make it and he has quite a good pitch.

Personally, I don't like his style and I'm not really interested in his film but he's a really great animator.

John K. needs to get over George Liquer and try to make something totally new (and kid friendly, not this over-the-top disgusting stuff).

Intesting.

I liked Ren and Stimpy as a kid, while it was on Nickelodeon. Now that I'm older, I've seen the MTV run, and understand more, I see how twisted that stuff actually was. I still find it funny though.

Because Uncle Wizzleteets.

For me at least, R&S is even more funny as an adult than it was when I was a kid. I understand more of the subversiveness now.

Agreed.

I'm sporting a R&S t-shirt in my 8th grade yearbook photo, something I will always cherish. I'd watch a feature length film of Powdered Toast Man if he decided to write it.

It's a fairly unique and obscure cartoon, but does any one know any cartoons/animations that are like MTV's Downtown? I don't know why I like this show so much, it's a cool and weird mix of trippy visuals, sort of grimy/dark look, slice of life and intresting conversations.
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

Chance of this being fake: 99%. Chance of it sucking if it's real: 100%.

So whatever happened to the new run of Courage the Cowardly Dog? Is it not coming? Was it a hoax? I was really excited...
