Ok, so my brother did have Tony Hawk 2 for GBC and the game almost made my thumbs go through my GBC I was gripping it so tightly with frustration at the slow startup speed of my character. Oh, and I think it took me less than three minutes to do every trick in the game.

I'll definitely be sticking to the console games and probably try out the GBA game at some point as well.

EDIT: The game also gave me slight motion sickness.

1. Mercs (PS2)
2. Darkstalkers 3 (PS1)
3. House Of The Dead Overkill (Wii)
4. Mega Man 3 (PS2)
5. Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters (PS2)
6. Halo 2600 (Atari 2600)
7. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game (NES)
8. Castlevania Chronicles (PS1)
9. Shadow Of The Colossus (PS2)
10. Capcom Vs. SNK Pro (PS1)
11. Capcom Vs. SNK 2: Mark Of The Millennium (PS2)

having just beat the first game last weekend, I figured I'd continue on. I cannot stress how much I love Capcom fighting games. I mean I like fighters in general, but the Capcom Vs series and its parts (namely SF2 and Darkstalkers) just feel so... comfortable to me. My team was Morrigan, Chun-Li and Blanka. I beat almost every single fight with Morrigan alone. I had to continue once (on M. Bison) and that was the only time I used Blanka at all. Also, these games just work soooooo well with the SF2 Anniversary Pad.

I actually did the same when I first tried it. Only played for like an hour then got rid of it. Controls just felt clunky to me. But I gave it second chance about a year later and I am really glad I did because it just clicked and I could not stop playing.

Trax for Gameboy
Super Mario RPG for SNES
Ikaruga for Gamecube
Mercs for PSP
A Space Shooter for Two Bucks! for PSP
Psychonauts for PS2
Firemen for SFC
Crash Bandicoot for PS1
Outrun SP for PSP
Raiden II for PS1
Kirby's Adventure for NES
After Burner: Black Falcon for PSP *new* One of the best hidden gems on the PSP. A great update to After Burner and a lot of fun. The gameplay and controls are spot on and while the levels can be a little repetitious they are fun nonetheless. I downloaded it for only $10 off of the PSN store and definitely recommend anyone with a PSP try this out.

Kirby's Dream Land 3 is a fun little game, pretty easy to run through. I played it in 2p with my girlfriend, which wasn't bad, although bosses had a tendency to focus only on player 1 , and kirbys power made it a bit easy to breathe in player 2 when you didn't want to. The only complaint i really have with this gamne though is that some of the pure heart conditions are really hard to figure out. How on earth was I supposed to figure out that the spring guy on level 1-2 required me to find the Chuchu animal friend, have no power and use it's grabby attack to spin it around lots of times. Theres nothing much to hint at that, so it's really kinda try everything and hope for the best. Good fun overall.

Bomberman '93 is pretty standard bomberman. Its not as good as Bomberman '94/Mega Bomberman due to some particular annoyances, but at the same time it has one or two things about it I like over B94. The random layout of the levels makes it very easy to die (a problem in all bomberman games). This problem is heightened by the enormous amount of flying enemies in later stages though - often you gt swarmed by flying enemies before you can even lay more than 2 bombs - only luck will get you through. Also, if you bomb the exit to the stage or a power up, loads more enemies appear. It's really annoying because it means you have to be careful because sometimes a second bomb will blow up after the first and set it off. Very irritating.
On the other hand, it has infinite continues, and when you use one, you keep all the bomb and firepower upgrades you acquired, unlike bomberman 94 which requires you to go back to older levels and play them over and over to power up again.

Overall, it's OK, but I don't feel the need to play anymore single play bomberman ever again.

Next up: Hopefully Wonder Boy in Monster World, then maybe something out of Super Probotector, Lords of Thunder or Pulseman. I'm on a bit of a VC roll atm.

Started up Zone of the Enders 2nd Runner the other day and was five minutes into it when I realized I never finished the original. So a quick play through of a classic game + worst ending possible has me ready to tackle the one that everyone has said is better. But first, I'm finally playing P.N.03 and I am wondering why the hell I waited this long to boot this amazing game up.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

This came in an indie bundle on steam. Considering I do not like the Layton series at all I was not expecting to enjoy this either, but I really did enjoy it. The plot I found was fairly humerous, but also kind of creepy. I got a real twin peaks vibe from it all. As well, I felt the puzzles had much more character then Layton puzzles, which felt more like chores to me. Only real complaint is that I finished it in a day. I look forward to the sequel.

Up next?
Last time I was not sure what I was going to play next. Well I ended up going with Baten Kaitos as my save file was only one hour in so it was not hard to pick up and learn again. I am now about 13 hours in, just reached Mira, city of Illusion, which I believe is near the end of the first disc. Not really a traditional JRPG kind of guy, so since this has nothing traditional about it, I am quite engrossed, and have a hard time putting it down.

P.N.03 will henceforth be one of the games that defines the gamecube for me. This game has everything - great action, fantastic aesthetics, solid gameplay, and an interesting (albeit nonsensical) storyline. I remember seeing this in stores a long time ago and passing it up for some reason. I regret that now.

Edit: Knocked out Super Puzzle Fighter II for the GBA real quick. Not a bad port, all things considered. Except for the part where the game seems to ignore that I am pressing buttons when the action gets frantic, I have nothing but good things to say about this game. Capcom should go ahead and make a Super Puzzle Fighter III (or I, for that matter) already.

@Flake, I totally agree. PN03 is one of the few absolutely AMAZING GameCube games that never had a release on another console.
