I lived a dark childhood and weirdly played a huge amount of Clay Fighter for while at one point haha. I think it was like a frequent rental, since I don't think I ever owned it. But I just loaded it up (having fun with my new Buffalo SNES controller) and it's so funny how so much instantly came back to me. It's eerie how well I know this game after all this time. I'm not sure what the difference is between the non and Tournament editions though.

2 on the other hand... doesn't look familiar at all.

I remember digging the 64 games too since they had Earthworm Jim and Boogerman.

Only played a few minutes because yeah... best left in the past. But it's weird to have a soft spot for Clay Fighter of all things. The Blob was my favorite.

We all have those weird random childhood games that we inexplicably played far too often. Mine were Wrath of the Black Manta and Cobra Command.

Strange games of questionable merit one spent far too many childhood hours playing? These qualify for me...

The only possible contender I can think of for myself would be Donkey Kong 64, but I still think that game is great. I think it gets way more shit than it deserves and is a very fun platformer, although perhaps not Banjo-Kazooie levels of perfect.

Keith Courage isn't a BAD game, but it certainly isn't a great one, either. When I bought my first TG-16, it was the only game I had for at least a month. I played the heck out of it.

I bought Judgement Clay because we enjoyed renting Clay Fighter so much. CF2 is a lesser game in many ways.

Its all about the Blob.

Though I did beat the game with every character atleast once.

Mine were:

Bret Hull Hockey '95 (I'm not much of a sports fan and definitely not a hockey fan but I loved this game for some reason).

Double Dragon [insert number here]: The Shado Falls (?) - It was a Street Fighter-style fighting game that I'm pretty sure wasn't a very good game in objective terms.

Wings 2: Aces High - a WWI fighter plane game. I spent loads of time on that game as a kid but somehow, I doubt it holds up today.

Double Dragon V: The Shadow Falls is what you are thinking of. Objectively no, it's mediocre when compared to other SNES fighter offerings, but it is also certainly not the worst the pack has to offer.
