The first "boss" of the second level of Castlevania Bloodlines gave me some trouble. The one who can teleport and the room fills with water. I drown before I can hit him.

I'm making progress in Paper Mario and Harvest Moon.
It took a bit for me to get going on Paper Mario because I hadn't played it in ages and couldn't remember where I was supposed to go. Once I got back in the groove though its been smooth sailing, and I'm now at the start of Chapter 5.
Harvest Moon is going well too, but I have a feeling I won't finish the game by summer's end. I'm going for as close to a perfect game as I can get. Unfortunately, that also means that its still spring of the first year and my daily workload is already insane.
I'm having fun with the game (how could I not? I adore Harvest Moon), its just that each game day takes quite a long time in real life, so my progress, though steady, is quite slow.
Of course, it doesn't help that I was playing my Dreamcast last night to try out my new monitor, and I made the mistake of playing Phantasy Star Online for the first time in several years. Many hours later I looked up and realized I'd forgotten how addicting that damn game is.
Its hard to work on the summer list when I keep derailing myself with other games.

Meh, your loss. You are missing out on what is certainly one of the finest Platformers ever created.noiseredux wrote:don't tell anyone, but I'm sort of an N64 hater. I've always considered the N64 a really weak platform as well. I know it's got it's share of quality stuff, a huge following, and a lot of people's childhoods were built off it, but I just really don't like that system. None of the big titles appeal to me at all. I can't even name one N64-exclusive game that I think is a really good game. It's just not for me, I guess.noiseredux wrote:don't tell anyone, but I'm sort of an N64 hater.

it's just got to do with my gaming lineage. I went from SNES to PS1. I had a friend who had N64 and I was just so not impressed compared to my PS1. PS1 felt more like a SNES2 to me. Y'know?brunoafh wrote:I've always considered the N64 a really weak platform as well. I do. Same thing with me (only I went from Genesis to PS1). My friend had an N64 and the PS1 library just seemed to blow it out of the water. Back in the day I thought some of the N64 games were kind of fun, but once I started really looking into the size of each library and amount of quality titles that each console offered, I was just like "oh wow".
