Today's Goodwill finds:

NES controller wih a few small gouges aboove the D-pad
Stock PS1 controller, good shape
Mad Catz Dual Force 2 PS2 controller, just missing left analog stick cover
Manhunt for Xbox, CIB, disc looks brand new

All for $7.35. Never played Manhunt either. Took a risk whether is was playable on a 360 or not until I looked it up, it is, with no major issues. Been wanting to play a game like that for a while, glad I held off.

I really don't have any use for the PS controllers except parts, the idea to stick a Dreamcast controllers guts into a stock or 3rd party PS or PS2 controller shell has been floating around my head for a while... I hate playing the Dreamcast NES emulator with the DC pad.

Um, you do know they make PS adapters for Dreamcast, right? Hell, they make PS adapters for pretty much every system ever.

Geez, Negative Nancy's, thanks for your support! Yes, adapters are old news, but I can't beat the DIY price of less than $6 in parts, and priceless in labor.

Yeah I was skeptical at first, but the seller said it comes with box, manual, cartridge, and dust cover in great condition so I bit. Everything is pretty mint except there is a little rip on the bottom left side of the box, but its not a big deal to me.

Got the following games from a craigslist sale for $30

Super Punch Out
Street Fighter Alpha 2
Kirbys Super Star
Donkey Kong Country 2
Phantasy Star 3

but there was a big surprise that caught my eye while making the deal...

It is an "Insider's Guide to the Powerfest", which was handed out at the 1990 Powerfest competitions leading up to the Nintendo World Championships! The guide highlights the competition, gives advice on how to play well on the NWC cartridge, and upcoming games from big name game studios.

Anyway, I end up simply asking for it and receiving it along with the games I was buying. I cant find an example of one that has ever been up for sale on its own so I am curious what the value may be. I am thinking $25-$50 considering it is in mint condition.
