Finally got around to picking these two up. Amazon Warehouse had a listing for both that was slightly below market value so I went ahead and picked them up before their prices climbed any higher. Luckily both are in pretty good shape and legit copies(opened them up to be sure).

Considering how much of a beat'em up fan I am, I'm amazed at how little I have actually played of Final Fight. I know most of the game through videos and whatnot, but the actual game itself is pretty new to me.

A while ago, I was visiting a local retro store that I had never been to and Final Fight was there. Even though I wasn't looking to buy, I just had to pick up a copy and I was happy to do it because I think he sold it to me for like $10, which is a pretty good deal.

I'll be playing this on Monday and I'm looking forward to it!

Picked up a bunch of cheapy GBA and GBC games on Amazon. Got these for $20.12 shipped plus I broke it up and got $14 digital credit for no rush shipping. Mostly junk titles but I checked out game play footage for them online and they looked interesting enough at that price got a mix of racers, brawlers, and platformers there.

I think I'm way too selective to ever rival those numbers. I've got a large collection, but I typically don't pick up anything I wouldn't want to play. I'd feel differently if I owned a game store or something, of course.

Most of these I actually may play one day on the Retron the gameplay videos actually looked pretty interesting for most of them. I already play tested a few and found some interesting stuff out.

I didn't realize that Track & Field has a kind of RPG story mode which looks pretty cool. Basically you setup a training schedule each week of in game time and train up for events while trying to balance raising your stats and managing your stress level.

Need for Speed Underground 2 is one of the few 3D games on the system. It's very basic but still cool to see on an older hand held.

Haven't gotten around to testing the others yet but I look forward to it.

It's a good game I've messed with it before, but it's also faux 3D if I recall correctly. It's 3D as much as Wolfenstein and both DOOM games, and Duke Nukem are on there. Real 3D there are some, as far as racing goes you get choices. There's a sprite based (but so many angles it appears 3D) rendered cars with a 3D total terrain (V-Rally 3) which displays just ilke Sega Saturn Sega Rally, but then you get the DOOM style faux 3D terrain but with a full 3D polygonal set of cars and behave really well (Top Gear Rally/Advance.) NFSU2 falls into being more like Top Gear.

There are a few full 3D games though, some flight (Wing Commander Prophecy) which is a total conversion of the entire PC game (minus the FMV rantings between missions) and then Smashing Drive the arcade crazy racer is on there too in full 3D. They run off that blue roses engine, but there are some others like the V-Rally engine as it evolved (V3D engine) got to where GBA got its first full 3rd person 3D platformer in EU only Asterix & Obelix XXL which isn't bad (had this, don't have it now, have the others mentioned here.)
