You named 4 awesome shows, so I'm not even sure where the results are supposed to fall
Nope. I mentioned four popular shows. Two of these are stylish, cool, and well written. Two are loud, obnoxious, and more than a little fruity.

So, I'm guessing I was supposed to pick Batman and Cowboy?

One Piece threw me off. Popular hardly describes it. Its not bad either, though I don't find it as good as most do.

Then again, the same goes for Batman >.>

Thing is I probably couldn't decide on either of those four. But looking back on it whoever mentioned the newer tmnt, I would say I like that show(great story and everything don't get me wrong) but it completely messes up the back stories and some parts of it don't make sense. I guess that's what I get for comparing it to a 2d cartoon

(avatar and korra are rare exceptions to what I call the decent more recent cartoons...heck I miss when nick did more cartoons and breadwinners/sanjay and craig is not good by any means)

Never seen school days but compared to any anime I do watch they are 10x better especially with comedy than adventure time and regular show combined. These more recent cartoons just feel like they're trying to hard to make comedy happen unlike some of the older stuff. If I'm going to watch american cartoons I'll watch tiny toons or animaniacs first. Either of those are way better than both of those other ones

Same thing that's wrong with Hugh Jackman's legs, roids and upper body work only. I can't find the pics of him working out but they are bad dude, he has chicken legs like he was paralyzed at some point in his life.

Fun fact: Logan, WV is the home of Devil Anse Hatfield. The "Anse" part, by the way, is short for "Anderson". He had a cousin also named Anderson. The good natured cousin was nicknamed "Preacher Anse" Hatfield, and the bad natured cousin... Well, I think you can figure out the rest.

I'm sure that's not the Logan Luke was talking about, just fun history trivia.

I personally don't like anime for the most part because of the exaggerated animation, i.e, giant eyes, complete facial change when they're mad and the overall melodramatic style of anime. That said, I do like some anime. I like Afro Samurai (obviously), pretty much anything from Studio Ghibli, and Spice & Wolf and Idk if the anime aficionado's consider it anime but The Boondocks.

Ehh to each his own, it just feels like they're trying to hard to make it funny but they're also trying to make it relatable and they're doing something wrong in the process because it doesn't add up for me to want to watch them.... :?

Some cartoons to try too hard to be funny. I tend to think of Tom & Jerry, Roadrunner, etc.

And, some anime tries too hard to sexualize things. Most female characters in anime aren't even female, they are just walking, unrealistic breasts. They aren't even characters, they don't matter.

...See, now I could just throw that ^ out there, and then just ignore all anime, and use this as the reason. But, that would be close-minded of me, and I know I would potentially miss out on something good by ignoring an entirety of entertainment.

I just hate to see someone blanket dismiss something. Get that "I just don't like American animation" out of your head. You don't even know if you like it or not, since I doubt you've seen all of it.

That "All anime is 10x better than all cartoons" is what sparked my response. To me, it is similar to saying "All Nintendo games are better than all Sony games", and then backing it up by saying Uncharted tried to hard to deliver its story.

Doing that ^ would invite terms like "Nintendo fanboy", and doing it with anime invites terms like "weeaboo" (I'm not calling you this). Sure, there is a chance that you are just completely unprejudiced and just so happen to only like animation that Japan puts out, regardless of its country of origin, just as its possible that a Nintendo fanboy has no loyalty to Nintendo, approaches every game objectively, and just so happens to only like games on Nintendo systems. But, more likely than not, something else is affecting the judgment here.

Just be open-minded maaaaan. :)
