I can't believe I forgot that movie, considering that Shannon Elizabeth gets raped by a snow man  .
I guess that's not the one with Michael Keaton.

I like any kind of movie as long as it's good. I can't think of a genre that doesn't contain at least one movie I like.

I'm not huge into romantic movies, but if you can't connect with the human element in a movie, what's the point? The greatest action scenes in the world are pointless if there's not some emotional weight to them. I'll even daredevil credit for having that to some degree. Although it loses most of its credit because Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner meet by having a random fight on a playground.

It seems silly to debate story in Daredevil, but don't they meet in the diner and then fight in the playground?

Oh and to jump on the "what stupid movie did you like that everyone else thinks is dumb" bandwagon, I think that expectations play a huge role in my enjoyment of a movie. I like Daredevil for a popocorn action movie, I expected it to suck going in and was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it. And before anyone says I haven't seen it recently, I watched it about 4 months ago.

The only one that I can comment on from this summer is Thor. Again my expectations were set properly. My friend said, fun action move, Natalie Portman is kinda terrible, just don't think about it. And I really enjoyed it.
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

Not that it matters, because most people think Avatar was a good movie, but...

Chasing Amy did better at the Box Office or DVD Sales than Green Lantern & X-Men Origins: Wolverine? Oh that's right, both of them SMASHED Chasing Amy's revenue.

And how many times am I gonna tell you that I thought they were okay movies. They were good for action romps, but could have been better? You act like I said they were my favorite movies of all time, hell a lot of you have.

Not that it matters
Than why make the claim? Ad populum arguments will get us nowhere concerning a film's quality.

Wait, did you just dismiss Luke's comment about critics/average moviegoers by mentioning Avatar, and then follow that up by talking about sales?

Avatar beat all 3 of those movies in sales by a pretty good margin.

No, I dismissed the idea of sales even mattering. But then went on to show that what he said wasn't right, regardless.
