That is a seriously awesome find Josh. Glad to hear that she kept it all instead of trashing it!
So, what exactly was the newspaper story again? (I've been ultra busy lately)

Here you go. Basically, there is a section in my local newspaper where people that collect things can be profiled in the local section. This one lady showed off her....button collection, which made me think I could do the same with my games. So I emailed the guy, he flipped out that a 15 year old reads the paper, got someone out to profile me, and the article was ran about a week ago.

Collects promo gaming stuff, certain import games, hockey memorabilia, and other oddball things. (sig and avy under construction)

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
2 DJ Hero Renegade Cases/Stands
Tatsunoku VS Capcom Wii
Astro Boy Wii
For less than $2!
Well really it was just under $36, but I had $34 in gift cards.
Tatsunoku VS Capcom was on clearance for $17.99, Astro Boy was $5.99, and the cases were $4.99 each.
I also went in with another member and got the Tatsunoku Fighting stick for for half price (BOGO) after shipping. I am using one of the DJ Hero cases for my turntable and the other will be modded for the fight stick.

Josh wrote:Well, I went to see that lady who wanted to give me the console for free. I never thought I could be so lucky. Unfortunately, the reason she gave me the console is because it was her son's, and he had unfortunately passed away a while ago, and she held onto the system. She said to me that she wanted to give it to someone whom she knew could treasure it and enjoy it, and when she saw my article in the newspaper she knew I was that guy, which was quite the honor in itself. But enough of my babbling, here's what I received:
That's terrible that her son had died, but good she found a worthy person for the stuff. I kinda feel bad for pressing the 'make sure' issue. Lucky you there's some great stuff in there.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Today at the flea market:
Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure PS1 (disk only)-$2.50
Harvest Moon: Back to Nature PS1 (disk only)-$2.50
+
Thrift store:
Pokemon Stadium N64-$2.00
Army Men Air Combat N64-$2.00
I've never played a Harvest Moon game before, but for $2.50 I figured its no big loss if I don't like it.
